Our history. Our values. Our mission.

About Us

Since 2002, Enutech Inc. has been conducting soil characterization and soil and groundwater decontamination projects across Canada.

Our Values

We value innovation and continuous improvement of our products and processes. In close collaboration with academia, Enutech has developed "green" decontamination technologies, particularly in phytoremediation and in situ remediation through the injection of biogeochemical solutions adapted to different types of contaminations.

Integrity and transparency are part of our basic principles and work ethic. We want to offer you a satisfactory service at a competitive price, in addition to guaranteeing the respect of deadlines.

The continuous training of our team allows us to offer a quality service by highly qualified professionals.

We are an employer who subscribes to the principle of equal access to employment and supports the training of the next generation by offering internships in the university and college environment.

Our Mission

Develop innovative technologies that address specific issues and that respect the principles of industrial ecology; in particular the decontamination of soils and groundwater by treatments:

IN SITU & EX SITU

Base d'un arbre dans l'herbe

What is an IN SITU treatment

This treatment allows the rehabilitation of contaminated sites without excavation and the degradation of contaminants into substances that are harmless to the environment.

This affordable treatment will allow you to continue your activities and will not require excavation of your land.

Pelle mécanique creusant le sol

What is an

EX SITU treatment?

EX SITU treatments can decontaminate soils, but in a more radical way. This type of treatment requires excavation.

Typically, we use the IN SITU approach, but there are situations that require excavation.

Our ecoresponsible commitment

Écorsponsable

Enutech is certified ECORESPONSIBLE™, level 1. Commitment, since 2021, and is proud to be part of the Quebec ECOLEADERS network. This certification provided by the Conseil des industries durables is part of a continuous improvement process that is deployed in 4 levels (Commitment, Performance, Optimum and Elite) and that allows organizations to demonstrate a concerted commitment towards sustainable development. For Enutech, the participation of many team members in the process has made it a key mobilizing element of our organization and collectively improved our sustainable development practices.

The ECORESPONSIBLE certification allows us to gauge sustainable development as a holistic process and to integrate its aspects simultaneously environmental, economic and social in an action plan that guides our decisions and our development perspectives.

As a part of the level 1. Commitment, we made a strategic diagnosis anchored in a sustainable development perspective and developed an action plan articulated around four major orientations:

  • Inform our stakeholders about the in situ treatments

  • Implement a hybrid governance

  • Perpetuate our organization model

  • Integrate circular economy principles

Principles of equity, harmony, diversity, concertation, innovation, circularity and respect of environment guide our path. Concrete working axes are declined under 4 large orientations and guide our actions on a daily basis. They include, among others, the development of internal continuous improvement mechanisms, the corporate culture consolidation, the transversality of sustainable development, the development of lasting partnerships, the improvement of the value chain and the reduction of our environmental footprint.

We continue to mobilize with conviction around the ecoresponsible imperatives that we have set for ourselves to gradually reach the next levels of the ECORESPONSIBLE Certification.

Enutech is also proud to be a part of the Fonds Écoleader expert group, which brings together 360 companies from different areas adopting ecoresponsible business practices or offering services related to clean technologies. This group allows us to improve our ecoresponsible business practices, refine our technological solutions and use our expertise with other members of the eco-responsible business community.

Initiated by the Government of Québec, the Fonds Écoleader is a large-scale project coordinated by the Fonds d’action Québécois pour le développement durable (FAQDD), in collaboration with the Centre québécois de développement durable (CQDD) and Écotech Québec, which is supported by many national and regional partners.
